Last Wednesday, the Rotary Club said goodbye to our member Emir Turkes.
Emir is relocating to London to continue his doctoral studies in Neuro Sciences at the University College of London.. Over the next three years Emir will be doing research on Dementia/Alzheimers and how it begins. Ultimately the goal will be to find a cure.
Emir joined our club almost 2 years ago, and his Rotary experience was started in Japan as Rotary Scholar. He joined the Roteract club of Tokyo West. Emir has already visited the Kensington Chelsea Rotary Club and anticipates becoming a member very soon.
We wish him all the best and hope he comes back for visits.
