On Wednesday evening, The Rotary Club of Toms River welcomed two very special guests from Rotary District 3020, India.
Rtn(Rotarian) Naveen Dasari (center) and V. Hema Chandu (left) are members of the Rotary Club of Vijayawada; a club of 175 members and growing. Naveen is an Advocate(attorney) of the AP High Court and V. Hema ia an ordained Lutheran minister.
The Rotary Club of Vijayawada is working on a project called "Rotarians Against Leprosy" and are working on the establishment of a "Clinical Leprosy and Awareness Program" in a facility dedicated to the treatment of this disease for anyone suffering from Leprosy.
Naveen also told us that Rotary District 7500 Gift of Life Program had operated on 62 children in India. WE are very proud to be a part of an international group dedicated to "Service Above Self"
